USA HOCKEY REGISTRATION ON LINE

Every player Mite through Bantam must be registered with USA Hockey (USAH). In 2008, USA Hockey is allowing players to register on line. The Patriots are requiring parents to register their players online at:

Player and coach registration to USAH must be completed yearly. Online registration reduces the time to process player information and improves accuracy.   In addition, this process provides you with a copy of your player's confirmation to use when required for other hockey activities throughout the year (e.g., WAHA camps, etc.). The registration is valid from September 1, 2008 until August 31, 2009.  

The total cost is $40 (cost includes $30 for USAH and a $10 fee for WAHA) and requires a credit card to be processed.   Upon successfully completing the registration, a confirmation will be displayed for you to print for your records.   NOTE:   The USAH registration confirmation is required for hockey players to be assigned to teams. Initiation teams ( Learn to Play/Learn to Skate) and recreational players (Atoms, U8 and U10) are exempt and do require USAH registration.

The information used to register with USAH is used to create official team rosters.   Tips for the online USAH registration:

•  Know the Patriots are participating in the USAH online registration program

•  Have your credit card ready (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover)

•  Select the 2008-09 season (red button bar)

•  Parents: choose the option “A Child Family Member (Under 18)”

•  Enter the player's birth date not a parent's

•  Coaches must be registered: choose the option “Myself” to register as a coach

•  Mites aged skaters are encouraged to register with USAH after team placement (those placed on Mites require registration, those placed on U8 do not require registration).
